No. Your bank account is not linked to your trading account. Your trading account holds the amount that you feel comfortable trading with, i.e. the amount you have already selected to transfer into your trading account.

In case of a currency pair, the swap charged depends on the position, as well as the difference in exchange rates of the currency pair. The swap is charged for positions left open after 22.00 GMT. Positions left open on Saturday and Sunday evenings are not charged a swap, however, on Wednesday evening the swap is charged for three days. Each specific asset has their own specific trading hours. Forex, i.e currency pairs, are traded 24/5 from Monday at 00.00 to Friday at 20.00 GMT. Commodities are traded from Monday to Thursday 00.00 – 23.00 and on Friday from 00.00 – 20.00 GMT. US stocks and futures are traded every working day of the week, from 13:30 – 20:00 GMT, UK stocks and futures are traded every working day of the week, from 07:00 – 15:30 GMT, German Stocks and Indices from 07:00 – 17:00 GMT, and French stocks from 07.00 to 15.30 GMT, every day of the week.
